The Group-Analytic Practice is a small organization providing a context for the clinical practice of group analysis, using the method developed by S.H.Foulkes and his colleagues. In "The Practice of Group Analysis", members and associates of the practice have come together to describe how it came to be set up, how it works today from a clinical and a practical viewpoint, and some of the problems and successes encountered along the way. The book describes a practice which houses several different groups offering the treatment pioneered by Foulkes. Over the years its members have accumulated a wealth of clinical and practical experience in conducting a variety of specific and mixed groups, in assessing and selecting patients for the groups, and in setting up an administrative and financial structure to create the environment for good therapy. The fruits of this experience are made available here to other therapists who may be considering developing similar enterprises or who want to know how group analysis can most effectively serve a wide range of client groups.

But Daphne’s Greyhound bus pulls over in downtown Carbon County and it’s not silence that welcomes her. It’s the sound of trumpets.Daphne’s desire to start again in simple country comfort is instantly dashed as the townsfolk declare that the End Times are here. And incredible occurrences soon support their belief. Daphne does all she can to keep her head down and ignore the signs. She works a job at the local oil rig, helps around the house, hangs out with her pregnant cousin Janie and gets to know Owen, a mysterious motocross racer and fellow roustabout at the rig. But soon a startling discovery shatters her resolve and calls into question all her doubts and fears.               Daphne landed in Carbon County for a reason. “Repairman Jack has got to be one of the greatest characters ever.... When all things start pointing to the end of humanity, Jack’s the guy to turn to.” - RT Book Reviews on Fatal Error The end of the world begins at dawn, when the sun rises later than it should. Then the holes appear. The first forms in Central Park, within sight of an apartment where Repairman Jack and a man as old as time watch with growing dread. Paul Wilson’s Adversary Cycle and Repairman Jack saga to an apocalyptic finale as Jack and Glaeken search the Secret History to gather a ragtag army for a last stand against the Otherness and a hideously transformed Rasalom.
