Anna Bartlett Warner (1827-1915) was an American writer and author of several hymns and religious songs for children. The best known of her songs is almost certainly Jesus Loves Me, This I Know; however some stanzas of this were written by David Rutherford McGuire. She wrote some books jointly with her sister Susan Warner (Elizabeth Wetherell) and also wrote under the pseudonym Amy Lothrop. Amongst her other works are Ellen Montgomery's Bookshelf (1856), Casper (1856), Pond Lily Stories (1857), Hard Maple (1859), The Golden Ladder (1863), The Carpenter's Daughter (1864), Little Jack's Four Lessons (1869), Wych Hazel (1876), Tired Church Members (1881) and Daisy (1885).
