He is chased by an angry storm, until a whirlpool sucks him down deep into the memory of the Earth. There he is stalked by a hungry ‘nothing’ he hopes to find. Young adults and even those not so young will enjoy this tale. Hard to neatly categorize, for it seems at first to be a children's book but it's deeper than most; nature lovers will enjoy it, but one need not be hardcore; it even has a bit of mysticism in it.
