The 2012 Health and Social Care Act, a major initiative of the Coalition Government, set in motion what are arguably the most extensive reforms undertaken since the founding of the UK National Health Service. This book brings together contributors from the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand to examine those reforms in the contexts of national health policy, service provision, governance, and more.
