Wachtel, Ph.D., is a Visiting Clinical Professor of Psychology (Adjunct) at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis and a CUNY Distinguished Professor in the doctoral program in clinical psychology at City College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He received the 2013 Division 39 Award for Scholarship and Research and the 2012 Division 29 Distinguished Psychologist Award.
