The performance features Kalamandalam Nelliyode Vasudevan Namboodiripad as the demoness, Simhika, Margi Vijayakumar as Simhika in disguise, Ramachandran Pilla at Kirmira. The performance was videotaped at Tirtapatta Mandapam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala in 1995 at a performance sponsored by Drishyavedi (a local cultural organization) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Kerala Summer Performing Arts Program.
