A stranger's arrival in a small Southern town stirs up old secrets and new dreams in this beautiful story full of hope and haunting mystery, and with the power to win your heart Renowned yet private, thriller writer Hayden Winters lives a life colored by lies. As he is deeply ashamed of his past, his hunger for an honest relationship and dreams of starting a family remain unsatisfied, and he can trust no one with his secrets. He's determined to outrun his personal demons, but the charming old Peach Orchard Inn and a woman whose presence is as gentle as a sparrow's song stops him in his tracks. Carrie Riley is afraid of everything from flying to thunderstorms, and pretty much of life itself. But meeting the enigmatic writer staying at the inn emboldens her to learn everything about him. When they discover a vulnerable boy hiding at the inn, Hayden is compelled to help Carrie protect him. Soon they're led to a centuries-old mystery that haunts Hayden's sleep, and his only safe haven is Carrie. As the secrets of the past and present cause their lives to become entwined, all that's left to come to light is love—if the grim truth doesn't tear them apart first.

Folk Icons And Rituals In Tribal Lifeby Pramod KumarBGAR OR V GAR is a Gujarati word which means sparsely populated. It is loosely used for that area of southern Rajasthan which includes the territories of the erstwhile states of Dungarpur and Banswara as well as southern Chappan of Mewār State. Although, nowadays the people of Rikhabdev and Salumber, the southern part of Mewār do not want this area to be included in Bagār, I have included it in my study because Rikhabdev is an important centre of religious activities of the Mina tribe and the main creative centre of icon-making for Bagār villages.Bāgar lies between latitude 23.11 and 24.01 and longitude 73.23 and 74.47 in the southern part of Rajasthan state in India. There are three main rivers in this region—Māhi, Som and Anās. The Māhi separates Dungarpur district from Banswara district and the Som forms a natural boundary between Dungarpur and Udaipur districts. Bāgar is hilly and mainly formed out of parts of these two districts. The hills in Dungarpur are however not very high. The highest peak, in the extreme northwest of this district, is approximately 572 metres (1876 ft) above sea level. These hills are offshoots of the Arāvali range.Abour The Author :-The author, Dr Pramod Kumar, lectures in history at a college in Rajasthan. He has specialised in studies of Indian, particularly Rajasthani, culture. He obtained his PhD for a study entitled Folk Murals of Shekhawati and has contributed many articles on Indian art and culture to journals published in India as well as abroad.
