In recent years, India has emerged as a major economic and political power. Yet, the country's cultural influence outside India has not been adequately analyzed in academic discourses. This book, a pioneering attempt, from an international communication/media perspective, is aimed to fill the existing gap in scholarship in this area.

This collection of realistic and varied case studies offers problem-based learning materials for the study of clinical nutrition. The text focuses on the field of medical nutrition therapy while also integrating the areas of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and general medicine. Each case study is presented as a medical record and includes a patient intake form followed by appropriate laboratory reports, a narrative giving detailed patient histories, and questions to guide the student through the medical record. Both entry level and advanced practice case studies are presented. Case study answers are located on the book's Web site.
