When Gwyn Briwnant-Jones published 'Great Western Corris', it was thought there would be no scope for a sequal. Since then many photographs and information have come to light, presented in this volume, paying tribute to the enduring appeal of this line.

This is a sequel to 'Railway Through Talerddig', the earlier account of the Newton & Machynlleth Railway (N&MR). It places the N&MR within the context of the Central Wales Division of the Great Western Railway and focuses on the years following the grouping of 1922.
