Ultra-wide angle lenses are a great way to add an interesting effect to your images. Ultra-wide lenses bend and distort your images, which allows you to portray your subjects in a way that the human eye can’t see. Getting up close to your subject distorts the perspective causing close-up areas to look huge and areas behind to look inordinately small. This is usually not recommended for portraits of people, but can be used for comedic effect and works especially well for pets.
