Jack Knight, Ted's 'collectible'-dealing younger son, must take over the role of Starman in order to fight both the Mist, his father's deadly enemy, and his children. What Jack doesn't know is that he can expect help from some very unexpected quarters.

In 'Sand and Stars', Jack must team up with his father's friend Wesley Dodds, the Sandman, to clear the name of a widow implicated in her husband's murder. Also included in this collection are 'Hell and Back', 'Talking With David, '96' and 'A Christmas Knight'.
