Summaries and Reviews
Amazon.com description: Product Description:

"They were tiny, roly-poly, soft, green, warm, steamy, bumpy, buttery . . . and sitting on Dillan McMillan_s plate." So begins this hilarious story of a finicky little boy who absolutely refuses to eat his peas, despite all the pleading, poking, and prodding from his family and friends. Dillan_s stubborn stance leads to an increasingly funny chain of events, as the entire neighborhood joins in to cheer on the picky eater. The clever text and wacky illustrations will keep young readers laughing away, right up to the surprise ending!

David Schneider grew up in upstate New York in a family where vegetables were a fixture of daily life. He is now an attorney residing in Olney, Maryland, with his wife and two daughters, neither of whom eat peas. This is his first picture book.

Jeff Shelly worked as an animator in New York and then moved to California to work for Disney. He is the illustrator of several children_s books. Jeff lives in the Hollywood Hills with his wife Christine and their three dachshunds.
