Summaries and Reviews
Amazon.com description: Product Description: Edward Hubbard was the man responsible for the first mass produced commercial aircraft to be built by the Boeing Company. He convinced William E. Boeing to bid on the San Francisco-Chicago air mail route. The bid, in the name of Boeing Air Transport Inc., was successful. Both Boeing and Hubbard signed the mail contract with the United States Post Office. Also at Hubbard's suggestion the Boeing Company built 25 Model 40-B planes from a 1925 prototype.
