Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has only one path in and one path out--there are no dead ends or false paths. Churches will set-up their own labyrinth in a large room or gymnasium, enabling participants to walk through at their leisure. It takes at least one hour to walk through the labyrinth and reflect at each of the 11 "stations" along the way.
