When Maura inherits the manor house in Picton near Salisbury, she is busy living in London and working as a model. However, when she returns to Wiltshire to put the property on the market, Maura is overwhelmed by her memories and longs to be able to keep the house. Sadly, it just doesn't seem financially viable.
